New easel

Since I began painting I have used a french easel. It has served me well but it was time to get something a little better. Unfortunately I am too cheap to just go out and buy a new one. After some research I found some relatively simple free plans at Ben Grosser's Website. After a few modifications this is what I ended up with:



I also confirmed that I have no right to be close to anything related to carpentry. I made what should have been a sime project ten times harder. Still, all told I have only about 85 dollars in The whole thing (along with a days worth of work). The back will also adjust:
