Grapes and Cup: Work in Progress

Here is a painting I started today.  It still has a long way to go.  I spent most of my time on the grapes and did a little big form modeling on the cup.  Put in a first pass on the background just to anchor the painting a bit.  Adding the medium to the paint is really forcing me to learn new techniques, which is exciting and frustrating at the same time.   One step at a time.
